Welcome to the CB-Bus website! Please look through all of the pages of this website carefully for much needed information. The website will also be updated often with announcements. If you have questions, please email us.
CB-Bus is a chartered bus service between Cornell University and Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, MD for Cornell University students who wish to go to the greater Washington, DC - metropolitan area. This bus service is provided for the four breaks during the school year: Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring.
This bus service was originally founded by Loretta Tang, a Cornell parent. Since her son graduated, she passed on this important responsibility to me. This will be my 13th year organizing CB-Bus.
We will be using the same charter bus company that has serviced the route since 1995. The travel time between Cornell and Bethesda, MD averages between 6.5-7 hours. The bus picks up at North Campus (Robert Purcell CC), West Campus (Baker Flagpole) and Collegetown (Center for Theatre Arts), then leaves for Montgomery Mall, Bethesda, MD. There is one stop for food on each trip. There is a restroom on the bus and movies are usually shown.
